How do you know if your organization needs refactoring? How can you tell if your organization is struggling to cope with operational demands that overload its capacity?
In this post, I’ve included an checklist for how to evaluate if your organization is thriving during a demanding time period or just barely making it. This guide was taken from projectmanagement.com.
I personally witnessed these issues in my last few organizations fighting to survive. Survival mode is a scary sight for some organizations. Survival causes people and organizations to behave in ways they might regret later on. Level headed approaches used in project integration management process and the tools of that knowledge area are invaluable to mitigating the negative consequences of organizational survival mode.
Using project management tools I’ve been able to:
- Understand baseline capacity
- Identify change partners
- Perform skillful execution
- Complete projects within time and budget
- Attain business case realization
- Minimize impact and enhance skill
- Attain optimal personal and career growth
- Create a capacity and aptitude for future unknowns
- Have business performance credibility
These tipping points are real because they interfere with accomplishing business goals. What are your thoughts?
